陈彼得声援Hindraf被扣者

为了防堵兴都权益委员会（Hindu Rights Action Force，简称Hindraf）在这个星期日（11月25日）所号召的万人大集会，警方于23日援引煽动法令，先行逮捕该组织3名灵魂人物，把他们控上巴生地庭，并申请法庭禁令阻止其支持者举行集会。

三名被逮捕的兴都权益委员会负责人是该会主席瓦塔姆迪（P Waythamoorthy）、其胞兄兼该会法律顾问乌泰雅古玛（P Uthayakumar）与甘纳巴迪（V Ganapathy Rao）。三人皆是执业律师。

为此，陈彼得陪同国会反对党领袖林吉祥，前往位于沙亚南的雪州警察总部声援遭被扣者。

On the afternoon, the three Hindraf leaders who were to be charged with sedition at the Klang Sessions Court managed to walk free on technical grounds.

Some 2,000 supporters, who were cheering throughout the proceeding, mobbed the duo as they walked out of the court building at about 6.45pm.

The trio were represented by lawyer M. Manoharan, A. Sivanesan, K. Ramu, VS Ganapathy Rao and R Kengadharan. All of them are also DAP members except Kengadharan.

Among those who attended the procedding including Parliamentary Opposition Leader Lim Kit Siang, DAP CEC leader Ronnie Liu, DAP Selangor Secretary Lau Weng San, DAP Selangor State Committee Member T. Kannan and DAP Selangor Vice Chairman Peter Tan.

民主行动党中央领袖及国会议员等一行人今天前往位于八打灵再也的《星洲日报》及《光明日报》总部，慰问昨天遭一名巫统党员殴打的《光明日报》摄影记者许俊诚。

当时，民主行动党蕉赖区国会议员陈国伟前往突击一间未向市政局呈报即兴建的民众会堂时，遭一批巫统党员围堵，他们继而企图对陈国伟动粗，《光明日报》摄影记者许俊诚在场采访，却遭一名情绪激动的巫统党员殴打受伤。

国会下议院今天（11月12日）因为干净与公平选举联盟（BERSIH，简称公选盟）于上个星期六（11月10日）在首都吉隆坡所号召的一场40,000人大集会而陷入一片辱駡舌战！

首相署部长纳兹里在国会下议院为此事发表激烈言论，并抨击在野党是“Pondans”（意指软弱无能者，或俗称“半男不女的人妖”）。

Insults were rained on the opposition in the Dewan Rakyat today over the massive rally held in Kuala Lumpur over the weekend.

Without mincing his words, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Mohd Nazri Abdul Aziz lashed out at the opposition, calling them among others, "pondan" (wimps).

BERSIH: Peaceful People’s Assembly 万人和平大集会

约40,000名有勇气的马来西亚同胞出席了这场近10年来最大型的请愿活动——BERSIH万人和平大集会。我很荣幸能够加入大集会的行列，为选举改革努力尽一份心力。

40,000 people turned up participating in the Bersih rally on Nov 10 in the largest show of force since the reformasi protests a decade ago. I am proud to be one of them calling for electoral reform.

冠英：拆庙行动违宪 Guan Eng: Temple demolition unconstitutional

民主行动党秘书长林冠英抨击雪州政府，强硬拆除林芭再也木屋区印度庙的野蛮行为，这也是国阵政府过于强大的后遗症。

他说，上述事件显示雪州政府不尊重法律赋予人民宗教信仰自由的权利，也质疑在拆除一间座落在私人地段上的印度庙，须出动4个地方政府的执法人员及警方。

林冠英今日下午连同大山脚区国会议员章瑛、怡保东区国会议员古拉、民主行动党雪州主席欧阳捍华及副主席陈彼得等，视察日前遭地方政府拆除的印度庙后，强烈谴责州政府的野蛮行为。

“州政府有责任照顾人民权益，事先应为信徒另觅土地后才拆庙，而不是为了少数人的利益，牺牲多数人的利益”

他抨击雪州大臣拿督斯里莫哈末基尔在此事上，采取不理不睬的态度。

他说，国大党全国拿督斯里三美威鲁以一个部长级的身份向首相求情，仍无法阻止此事的发生，一再推翻所谓“有人在朝好办事”的说法。

●大山脚区国会议员章瑛对于州政府以强硬手段拆庙表示遗憾，并吁请当局日后须谨慎处理各民族的宗教敏感问题。

她促请首相关注少数民族的权益，加上回教教义劝导教徒须协助少数民族，因此现在是回教徒言行一致之时。

●怡保东区国会议员古拉说，本身今早在国会提出的紧急动议遭议长驳回，但仍会在下星期二的国会上再次提出该动议，希望获得其他议员的支持。

他说，国家并无任何条文阐明庙宇不可建在私人地上，所以目前是讨论该课题的最佳时机，而不是继续将问题藏在地毯下。

他希望雪州政府严正看待此事，取消当地的私人发展计划，以及批准该庙永久建立在原地上。

●民主行动党雪州副主席陈彼得说，执法单位向民众动粗事件一再发生，警方应向民众作出一个明确的交代，以免事件不了了之。

他也抨击执法人员不尊重他人神明，强行毁坏他人宗教的神像。

DAP Secretary-General Lim Guan Eng criticized that the actions of Selangor State Government to demolish the Hindu temple in Kampung Rimba Jaya were barbaric behaviors.

“This shows that the temple demolition by the State Government is against the Article 11 of the Federal Constitution which guaranteed freedom of religion in the country."

Together with Guan Eng were MP for Bukit Mertajam YB Chong Eng, MP for Ipoh Barat YB M.Kulasegaran, DAP Selangor State Chairman Ean Yong Hian Wah and Vice Chairman Peter Tan. They condemned the barbaric actions of the State Government to demolish the temple.

“State Government has the responsibility to defend the people's rights. They should not sacrifice the interests of the majority of people just for the sake of the minority.”

YB Chong Eng, MP for Bukit Mertajam expressed her deepest regret towards the demolition of Hindu temple by the State Government. She urged the authorities to be more sensitive when dealing with religions in the future.

YB M.Kulasegaran, MP for Ipoh Barat said that he had raised an urgent motion on this issue in the Parliament House but it was rejected by the Dewan Rakyat deputy speaker. He would propose the motion again on the coming Tuesday.

Kulasegaran described the demolition as "an extreme act which is unconstitutional, criminal, despicable and unrelenting."

He said, there is no provision clarifying that the temple can not be built on private land, so it is the best time to discuss the issue, rather than continue to sweep another issue of great public importance under the carpet.

He hoped that the Selangor State Government would look at this matter solemnly, and try to suspend the private development projects, as well as to ratify the permanent establishment of the temple.



DAP Selangor State Vice Chairman Peter Tan said, the police should make a clear explanation publicly on the repeated violence of the police against the people.

He also criticized that the authorities did not respect the religions of the people, and they even damaged the religious statues.

摩多遭扣押后遗失 · 技工疑官员监守自盗

一名修车技工因骑着甫购买的二手摩多，前往验车中心进行检验和更新路税，但在途中遭陆路交通局官员截查，并以没有路税当场扣押他的摩多，然而，当他数天後前往认领时，却被告知摩多已不翼而飞，令他对政府单位的行事作风深感失望，并疑内部监守自盗，要求反贪污局介入调查。

37岁的戴志忠说，尽管当局事後表示会作出赔偿，但却完全没有给他一个期限，摩多是他维持生计的主要交通工具，如今摩多没了，又得不到赔偿，对他生活上造成很大影响。

他说，他是在10月8日向一间摩多店，以3400令吉购买这辆二手摩多，并於18日骑往验车中心进行验车和更新路税。

"讵料，途中遇到陆路交通局官员截查，指我的摩多没有路税是不可骑上路，并当场开了一张传票和充公摩多。"

要求反贪局调查

他说，当他3天後前往认领时，被告知还未完成割名手绩不得领取，他惟有在29日办完手续後再度上门，但没料到，对方却告诉他，摩多遗失了。

"我不禁愣在当场，怎麽可能？更令我难於置信的是，对方还说'罗里都不见啦'。"

他说，他在周四前往报警，过後会见该局充公组主任阿兹曼时，对方指已接受他的报案纸，并会作出赔偿，但当他问何时可取得赔偿，对方是一问三不知，令他深觉没有保障。

戴志忠周五向雪州行动党副主席陈彼得投诉时说，事发到现在，当局除了只发一张传票给他，就什麽证明文件都没有。

他强调，他想知道真相，为何放在政府地方的摩多也会不见，是否涉及内部问题，因此，他要求反贪污局介入调查。

他吁请当局尽速给他一个明确答复，他也会保留法律追究，为自己讨回公道。

此外，他也投诉该局官员态度不友善，"我是要去领取自己的摩多，却好象去'求车'，把我当球般踢来踢去。"

保障物主权益 扣押应给文件证明

陈彼得说，当局在扣押任何东西时，都应该给予一份文件证明，以保障物主的权益。

他说，但据他向当局官员了解，是没有这一方面的程序，因此，他要求交通部长拿督斯里陈广才加以正视。

"事实上，我接获许多类似的投诉，并怀疑摩多是遭内部的人便卖。"

针对戴志忠的事件，他表示会在下午带领戴氏前往会见阿兹曼，了解进展。

免旧车无法更新路税 特殊情况应通融

雪州行动党法律局主任林立迎说，根据一般程序，陆路交通官员是有权扣押没有路税的交通工具，但在特殊情况下，则可伸缩处理。

他说，按照陆路交通局程序，任何购买二手车的车主，都必须把车送往验车中心检验後，才更新路税，而戴志忠是依照程序前往办理手续，所以只要能出示有关摩多是甫购买的摩多，便可给予通融。

"倘若当局欲严格执行，则可能很多旧车都没法更新路税。"

此外，林立迎表示，上述事件只是冰山一角，不只发生在陆路交通局，也同样发生在其他政府部门单位，东西"无故"不翼而飞，这相信是有官员吃里扒外丶占为己有或将之转卖。
